2 tsp. cornstarch  

1/2 tsp. finely grated orange zest

1 heaping Tbs. minced fresh-ginger

Cooked white rice for serving

1-1/2  Tbs. soy sauce

2 Tbs. vegetable oil

1/2 tsp. toasted sesame oil

1/2 lb. thinly sliced meat or seafood

2 scallions (white and green parts), thinly sliced

1 clove garlic, finely chopped

1 Tbs. fresh orange juice

1/2 lb. assorted vegetables, trimmed and thinly sliced or cut into small pieces

1/2 tsp. chile paste; more if you-want it really spicy

1 Tbs. dry sherry

1/2 cup low-salt canned chicken broth
