2 tablespoons minced yellow onion

2 tablespoons minced Italian parsley

1 egg

1/2 to 3/4 cup breadcrumbs

1/2 cup shelled pumpkin seeds or

1/3 cup flax seeds

2 to 3 tablespoons light oil such as safflower or grapeseed for frying
