1 teaspoon dried oregano

2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

5 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups shredded romaine lettuce

2 plum tomatoes, chopped

1/2 medium cucumber, peeled, seeded, and thinly sliced

1/2 small white onion, finely chopped

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 container (6 ounces) Greek-style plain fat-free yogurt

4 whole grain pitas (6 1/2" diameter), top 1/4 sliced off
