Made this for brunch with a couple of modifications. (1) I used thinly sliced bosch pears instead of apples. (2) I deleted the sambal and peanut butter, and used sprinkles of honey goat cheese, and prosciutto chopped into tiny pieces. I added the watercress sprigs (arugula also works) just before serving. This pizza pairs well with a salad of beets, apples, celery and walnuts with champagne vinaigrette, honey

1/8 teaspoon sambal oelek (Asian chili paste; importfood.com)

5 thin slices tart red apple, such as McIntosh
