This recipe is delicious. I adapted it slightly. No veal and not as much cream veggie filling sine meat portion was smaller. Made 3 small loafs and had bacon on top and baked @ 350 for 30 min

3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

1 large onion, peeled and diced

1/2 pound mushrooms, trimmed and finely chopped

3 large cloves garlic, peeled and minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 1/2 teaspoons fresh oregano, minced

1 1/2 teaspoons fresh thyme, minced

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 pound lean ground beef

1 pound lean ground pork

1 pound ground veal

1 egg, lightly beaten

3/4 pounds smoked bacon (sliced-about 13 slices)
