Simplest Edamame Hummus

As the title says, it is very simple. This hummus is pretty bland. I added salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, paprika, mint, a tiny bit of roasted garlic, lemon zest, and a little bit of blue agave nectar to give it more flavor. Hope this helps! :)

Glad to hear that you go back to this over and over, Sara. I do, too (even though my little one isn't the biggest fan; the rest of us love it). I'll give one of your adaptations a try next time!

This is pretty good, I think. (Though it has gotten mixed reviews by some family members.) I have made it twice, once using some sesame oil and some olive oil and a touch of soy sauce. I think next time I will spice it up a notch with some sriracha.

Ingredients

1 bag frozen, shelled, organic edamame, 10 oz , cooked as directed on package

juice of 1 organic lemon

1 - 1 1/2 cloves organic garlic, roughly chopped

1/4 cup water

4 tbsp organic olive (or sesame) oil
