2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

2 oz pancetta , coarsely chopped

1 small onion , chopped

2 cloves garlic , minced

1/2 tsp hot pepper flakes

1/4 tsp pepper

1 can (19 oz/540 mL) whole tomatoes

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
