6 1-1/2-inch gingersnap cookies, crushed until crumbs

1-1/2 tablespoons finely chopped toasted almonds

½ tablespoon unsalted butter, melted

1 pound regular cream cheese, cut into 1-inch pieces, at room temperature

½ cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

zest of 1 lemon, finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1-1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

Garnishes: fresh blueberries, raspberries or strawberries.
