3 x medium to large Garnet Yams (red skinned-orange fleshed yams), cleaned & roughly cubed

3 cup cooked Chickpeas

2 tbsp Butter

1 x chopped Shallot

A few Garlic Cloves

A few dashes of Ground Ginger

A few dashes of Crushed Red Pepper

A few dashes of Curry Powder

A few dashes of Cilantro fresh or dried

A few dashes of Cardamom

A few dashes of Salt

A few dashes of Black Pepper

32 oz low sodium Vegetable or Chicken Broth

Some hot water to thin out soup to desired thickness
