400 g 14oz sustainably sourced tuna

red wine vinegar

2 x 400g tins of good quality plum tomatoes

2 eggs

4 cloves of garlic peeled and finely sliced

1 small onion peeled and finely chopped

zest and juice of 1 lemon

55 g 2oz pinenuts

100 g 3 oz stale breadcrumbs

sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

a small bunch of fresh flat leaf parsley leaves picked and roughly chopped

for the meatballs

a handful of fresh flat leaf parsley chopped

1 teaspoon dried oregano

55 g 2oz freshly grated Parmesan

1 level teaspoon ground cinnamon

for the tomato sauce
