2/3 cup dried apricots, chopped

2 tbs Grand Marnier

2 cup Flour

1/2 tsp Baking Powder

1/4 tsp Baking Soda

1/4 tsp Salt

6 oun Unsalted Butter, room temperature

3/4 cup Sugar plus extra for sprinkling

3/4 cup light Brown Sugar

2 x extra-larg Eggs room temperature (I used large and it turned out fine)

1 x extra Egg Yolk, room temperature

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

1/4 tsp Orange Extract

1 x Zest of 1 orange

1/2 cup Buttermilk

1/3 cup sliced almonds
