2 cups all purpose flour

3 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 teaspoon baking powder

Pinch salt

1 1/4 sticks unsalted butter (10 tablespoons), chilled and cubed

2/3 cup buttermilk

4 peaches (about 1 1/2 pounds) peeled, pitted and cut into large chunks

3 basil sprigs, with leaves left on (4-7 leaves each) + 1 more for garnish

1 cup chilled heavy cream

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 tablespoons powdered sugar
