12 chicken legs

2 cups self rising flour

1 teaspoon seasoning salt (I use Johnny's)

2 teaspoons butter or Butter Flavor Crisco

2 teaspoons fresh ground black pepper

1 cup oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon beau monde seasoning (spice Island brand)
