I agree with Michelle. I thought the sweetness and sesame were a bit too heavy for my taste, so I'm going to cut down on those and add in more chili paste next time. It made a great make-ahead lunch!

Very good - but SO sweet. Next time I'll halve the sugar and double the other flavors - garlic, soy sauce and chili

1 package extra firm tofu

1 egg, lightly beaten

1/4 cup cornstarch

1/4 cup peanut or canola oil

sesame seeds

8 stalks broccolini

1/2 cup sugar

2 tablespoons cornstarch

3/4 cup water

1/8 cup rice vinegar

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons sesame oil

1 teaspoon chili paste

1 garlic clove, minced
