Ingredients for 4 servings

1 teaspoon lemon juice

salt

1 teaspoon flour

3/4 cup chicken stock (I just use powdered bouillon, reconstituted.)

1 finely chopped onion

2 lbs shrimp or prawns, cleaned and deveined

1 teaspoon garlic , crushed (about one really large clove. I like garlic.)

1 teaspoon turmeric powder

1 teaspoon ground cloves

1 teaspoon sugar

1/2 cup creamed coconut (I just eyeball half a can)

2 teaspoons cayenne powder (more or less to taste)

1 teaspoon ground cardamom
