Ingredients

2 cups cold mashed potatoes

2 cups cooked, cold bar clams, & clam mussels, chopped

1 cup onion, chopped

1/4 cup cold cooked carrots, chopped

1/4 cup cold peas

1 egg yolk

1/2 tsp. pepper

1 tsp. vinegar

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together. Shape into cake patties. Chilled 2 hours. Just before frying cakes cook bacon & onions. Set aside. Fry cold cakes in a hot oiled skillet till brown on both sides. Add cooked bacon & onions just to warm. Serve cakes with bacon & onions.
