1 cup assorted fresh mushrooms, cut into bite-size pieces

1/2 cup red pearl onions

1/2 cup cipollini onions

1 medium leek, split and cut into 1-inch pieces

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons flour

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup butter

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/2 cup buttermilk

1 teaspoon chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley

1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme

1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh chives

1/2 cup cooked, diced bacon

4 hard-cooked eggs, peeled and quartered
