the dough was very thick, but my batch came out really great as well! the crumb topping was good, but added to much sugar for my taste. making them again today, with a cream cheese

Not very sweet. Shortbread type consistency. Crumb topping was good though

8 tablespoons (1 stick) butter, divided

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, divided

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

3/4 teaspoons salt

1 egg, beaten

1 cup milk

1 cup fresh blueberries, washed

1/2 cup light brown sugar
