One of the chefs in the culinary program at ARC made a Momofuku inspired meal last spring and served this pie, it was one of the best things I have ever tasted!! I can't wait to try it myself.

2/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon flour ( for GF folks, I used Pamelas brilliant bread and flour mix)

1/8 teaspoon baking powder

1/8 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup softened butter

1/3 cup light brown sugar

3 tablespoons sugar

1 egg

1 cup rolled oats (GF folks: Bobs Red Mill Gluten Free Oats)

1/4 cup butter ( I had to add another tablespoon of butter to make the crust stick together)

1 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups sugar

3/4 cup plus 3 tablespoons light brown sugar

1/3 cup plus 1 teaspoon milk powder

1 cup butter, melted

3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons heavy cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

8 ( yes 8!) egg yokes

powdered sugar for garnish
