Ingredients for 4 servings

6 bittersweet chocolate

2 unsalted butter

1 flour

1/4 cocoa powder

1/4 salt

1/4 baking soda

4 eggs

1 light brown sugar

1/2 low-fat yogurt

1/4 canola oil

2 vanilla extract

3/4 walnuts

Preparation

1.

Preheat oven to 350.

Melt 6 ounces of chocolate and 2 tablespoons butter.

Whisk 1 cup flour, 1/4 cup cocoa, and 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda.

In another bowl, whisk 4 eggs and 1 cup light brown sugar. Add 1/2 cup yogurt, 1/4 cup canola oil, and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. Whisk in the melted chocolate and blend.

Add dry ingredients. Add walnuts. Bake for 20-25 minutes.

If desired, substitute mint extract and mint chocolate.
