Ingredients for 4 servings

400 g of penne cooked al dente

2 tablespoons of olive oil

2 tablespoons of butter

1 small white onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

Thyme chopped to taste

1 chicken or vegetable stock cube crumbled

150 g gorgonzola cheese

50 ml white wine

250 ml fresh cream

a pinch of cayenne pepper to taste

2 pears, peeled, seeded and sliced length ways
