Ingredients for 8 servings

1 tablespoon butter for greasing baking dish

1 cup all-purpose flour

½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

½ teaspoon salt

1 ½ cup granulated sugar

4 whole eggs, room temperature

2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

1 ½ tablespoons instant coffee combined with 1 tablespoon hot water (coffee “extract”)

1 cup butter (8 ounces), melted

8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped, plus 1 square for garnish curls

1 (10 ounce) jar caramel sauce (I prefer Trader Joe’s “Fleur de Sel” Caramel Sauce)

8 fresh mint leaves, for garnish

1 cup (8 ounces) heavy whipping cream, cold

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 teaspoon instant coffee combined with ½ teaspoon hot water (coffee “extract”)

2 tablespoons granulated sugar
