13 Ingredients

  • 2 tsps red chili powder , to taste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 750 g butterfish or hamour fish, cleaned,washed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 Tbsps fresh fenugreek leaves , washed and chopped (methi)
  • 3/4 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup yogurt cheese (labneh)
  • 6 tsps ginger-garlic paste
  • 3 tsps dried fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi)
  • 2 Tbsps g flour , dry roasted on a griddle (tawa,besan)
  • 3 egg yolks
  • oil, for basting
  • salt
