I've made this recipe several times, and it comes out sooo amazing!!I didn't have slivered almonds so I crushed whole almonds. The crumb topping is what really makes this dish. About half way through cooking I always put more of the topping on because everything will settle into the ramekins leaving more room for more topping : ) ice cream paired with this dish makes it the perfect semi-healthy dessert!!

Ingredients for 8 servings

1 cup All-purpose flour

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup Packed brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Dash Or Two Of nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup slivered almonds

1-1/2 stick Cold (salted) butter, Cut Into Pieces

4 bags (12 Ounces) Frozen Tart Cherries

1/2 cup White sugar

1/4 cup cornstarch

2 teaspoons almond extract

2 cups Heavy cream

2 Tablespoons sugar
