  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 cups water
  • 3/4 cup shelled walnuts
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 1/2 lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed and washed
  • 1 apple, peeled and cut into slivers (about 1 cup)
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
