1 cup chopped yellow onion

1/4 cup flour

3/4 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces

Cooked white or brown rice

1 to 2 tablespoons hot sauce

1/4 cup canola oil*

1 1/2 to 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth*

1 cup chopped green bell pepper

Salt and pepper to taste
