1 clove garlic, chopped

4 ounces of mixed, chopped mushrooms, including cremini, shitake, and oyster

3 tablespoons flour

1/3 cup dry vermouth

1/2 cup dry white wine

1/2 cup fish stock or clam juice

1 cup half and half

1/3 cup chopped fresh flat leaf parsley

2 sheets thawed frozen puff pastry

Egg wash, made from 1 egg and 2 tablespoons milk, beat together

Herbs for decorating the pastry, including a few leaves of: sage, basil, chervil, parsley, thyme, or whatever you like

2 lemons

Olive oil for drizzling

As always, salt and pepper
