1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey (*I prefer ground turkey cause it’s healthier but mom used to use ground beef)
1 small onion, chopped
1 (28 oz.) can whole peeled tomatoes… Do not drain!
1 (14 oz.) can corn, drained
2 c. Minute rice (*I prefer brown rice)
1 c. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
salt and pepper to taste
