The ratios of ingredients can be adjusted to your liking. Also, if you're willing to spend the time, using fresh/dry chickpeas and soaking them is so much better than canned!

1 large can of chickpeas (about 2 cups), drained and rinsed

1/4 cup olive oil

2-3 garlic cloves, peeled

1/4 cup lemon juice

2 tbsp tahini

salt, to taste (I use 1 to 1-1/2 tsp of sea salt)

water, as desired
