BEST wine and chocolate cake I ever tried, every time is a blast with my guests. Hand whipped cream or a home made ice cream are paramount. Chose a good brand of wine as you can actually taste it in the cake, you can finish the bottle by pairing it with another red-wine-recipe (a meat-based main or you can put it in your home-made pasta dough)

This is fantastic - there's a bit of a kick at the end of every bite and it smells divine. Make sure to make it with the topping - it takes all of three minutes but it is heavenly. Mascarpone and cream = ethereal goodness.

The most incredible one-bowl chocolate cake! Plus the red wine doesn't bake out so it's a bit of an adult version...

1 cup + 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1/2 cup Dutch cocoa powder
