Very tasty. It might taste even better with a 1/2 cup of golden raisins added toward the end. We will definitely make again, but will likely make a half recipe next time.

Ingredients for 18 servings

Dough:*

Filling:

2 stick (1 cup) cold unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch cubes

2 large Egg

2/3 cup Ice Water

2 tbsp distilled white vinegar

3 x whole chicken legs, including thighs (2 to 2 1/4 lb total)

1 tsp Salt

1/4 tsp Black Pepper

4 1/2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

2 large onions, halved lengthwise, then cut lengthwise into 1/4-inch-wide strips

2 large garlic cloves, minced

2 x Turkish bay leaves or 1 California

1/3 x finely diced Spanish chorizo

1/2 tsp Spanish smoked paprika (not hot)

1/4 cup pitted green olives

1/2 cup white wine

1/2 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth

1 x egg, lightly beaten with 1 tablespoon water
