Not the prettiest of dishes, but tasted great. We used the left overs the next day poured over cauliflower & baked. It was a delicious addition to our roast.

Ingredients for 6 servings

2 x apples, cored & cut into chunks

2 cup cauliflower florets

2 cup large cubed ham

2 cup baby carrots, each halved

1 x baguette - or any bread with lots of crusty crust

pigs-in-blankets

1 lb good aged cheddar, grated

2 1/2 tbsp all-purpose flour

8 oz Guinness stout, more if needed

6 tbsp frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed

1 tsp powdered mustard

1 tsp finely minced garlic

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

2 tsp olive oil
