Used whole wheat flour, raw cane sugar and added strawberries. Muffins were delicious and not overly sugary.

Ingredients for 24 servings

8 Tbs. (1 stick) unsalted butter, cut into 3 equal pieces

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup plus 2 teaspoons sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup milk

1 egg

3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup blueberries, rinsed and dried
