Ingredients for 4 servings

1 tsp red chilli powder

10 sprigs of coriander, washed and chopped finely. Leave stalks on as they are full of flavour.

2 tbsp butter ghee (you don't need to melt it first)

1 medium onion blitzed in food processor

1 litre of boiling hot water

1 green chilli

1 tsp salt

1/2 cup split red lentils washed and strained

2 cloves of garlic peeled and finely sliced

1/2tsp turmeric
