Topping

1 cup frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed

1/2 cup whole wheat pastry flour

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 tablespoon cornstarch or arrowroot

Fruit

2 cups pitted cherries (either fresh or 1 (10-ounce) bag of frozen)

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

1/2 cup white flour

1/2 teaspoon sea salt
