Ingredients for 5 servings

2 x bacon, cooked until crisp

1/2 x large sweet onion, diced

2 x carrots, diced

2 x celery stalks, diced

1 x clove of garlic, minced

4 cup chicken broth

1-2 15 oz diced tomatoes, blended with an immersion blender

1/2 tsp crushed red pepper

1-2 tsp dried thyme

1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 x bay leaf

Sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste

6-7 x red baby potatoes, diced into bite sized chunks

2 6.5 x clams and the juice
