Have made this recipe tons. Even folks who claim they don't like spinach can't seem to resist it. The recipe is right on the Knorr Vegetable Soup mix box. I would not recommend using Lipton brand; totally different flavor, but that might just by taste bud preference. I have used the Knorr Garden Vegetable mix when the store was out of the regular vegetable mix, and that tasted fine.

Ingredients for 16 servings

1 packet (1.4 oz) Lipton or Knorrs Vegetable recipe mix

1 container (16 oz.) sour cream (I use lowfat)

1 cup mayonnaise

1 package (10 oz.) baby spinach, chopped or frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry

1 can (8 oz) water chestnuts, drained and chopped

3 green onions, chopped (optional)
