This recipe wasn't my favorite. I'm wary of any recipe that doesn't call for salt and pepper, and I found that doctoring it up with sautéed onion and garlic helped the flavor. I added salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar to the sauce as well. It was also annoying to have to fill in important steps in the directions, such as what type of pan to make the sauce in and how long to cook off the vodka before adding the pasta.

2 slices diced Canadian bacon

2 tbsp tomato paste

1 tbsp parsley

4 tbsp cream

1/4 C vodka

4 C cooked penne

1 1/2 C peas
