Ingredients for 5 servings

* 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

* some flour

* 1 teaspoon of Baharat

* 1 can of roma tomatoes, crushed

For the Cous Cous

* 400 g of beef mince (although you could use lamb/mutton instead)

* 1 cup cous cous (medium grain)

* another egg (for beating)

* salt and pepper

For the Scotch Eggs

* some breadcrumbs

* 2 Tablespoons of olive oil

* 1 cup water

* oil for deep frying

* 2 teaspoons of butter

* 5 large eggs

* three quarters of a teaspoon of cumin seeds, dry roasted and ground

* 1 large onion, diced finely

For the Salsa

* 1 small can of chickpeas (garbanzo), drained

* 1 teaspoon of salt
