Ingredients for 6 servings

1 large tart red apple, halved, cored, and cut into 1/2-inch dice

1 cup pecan halves, toasted

1 small bunch flat-leaf parsley

3 to 3-1/2 lb. bone-in chicken pieces   

1 bay leaf

1/4 cup plain yogurt

1 tsp. honey

2 Tbs. mayonnaise 

1 large ripe but firm Bartlett or Comice pear, halved, cored, and cut into 1/2-inch dice

4-1/2 tsp. lemon juice 

1-1/2 cups seedless green or red grapes, halved 

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
