1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken broth

2 tablespoons olive oil

ground pepper , to taste

1 tablespoon dry parsley flakes

1-2 tablespoon chicken bouillon granule

1/2 large onion , sliced or 3/4 cup green onion , sliced

1 (2 1/4 ounce) can sliced ripe olives , drained

1 (6 ounce) jar marinated artichoke hearts, drained and quartered

1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup

6 roma tomatoes , peeled and coarsely chopped

4 ounces parmesan cheese , grated

8-12 ounces penne pasta , cooked as directed on pkg

1 teaspoon dried basil or 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary , chopped

1/2 lb mushroom , sliced

1 tablespoon garlic , minced

2 lbs boneless chicken breasts or boneless chicken thighs, cut into 1 in. to 1 1/2 in pieces

1 teaspoon oregano

fresh parsley

1 tablespoon capers (optional)
