1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic

1/2 cup cream

1/4 teaspoon kosher salt or to taste

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper or to taste

1 1/3 pounds fresh or dried fettuccine

1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
