It was a big hit on the grill...used wine and steak sauce marinade...about 2 hours in fridge. Let them sit for about 15 minutes, then tossed em on the grill and it was on! I agree with Abby about the horseradish...

Delish! My husband thought he had died and gone to Heaven. We tried the poached method, and next time we will grill. The poached produced perfectly cooked shrimp, which is good, because there are few things more sad than an overcooked shrimp. I also added more horseradish than called for in the cocktail sauce because we like it to singe our nose hairs. :)

Ingredients for 4 servings

1 cup ketchup

1 tablespoon prepared horseradish

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon ancho or other mild chili powder

Pinch cayenne pepper

1 tablespoon juice from 1 small lemon (we use more)

1 tbsp juice from 1 small lemon (we use more)
