2 pita bread rounds

1/2 teaspoon sumac (optional; see Note)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

2 tablespoons beef or chicken broth

1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil

1 heart of romaine lettuce, cut into ribbons

Leftover cooked lamb slices, cut into bite-size pieces (about 1 1/2 cups)

Leftover grilled onion, thinly sliced

Leaves from a handful Italian parsley, coarsely chopped or torn if large

Leaves from 5 sprigs mint, coarsely chopped or torn

Leftover Tomato-Cucumber Salad
