  • 1 ½ kg brinjal
  • 2 tsp fenugreek seed
  • 2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 45 gms + 30gms (for very hot) dried red chillies
  • 100 gms garlic
  • 30 gms turmeric
  • 45 gms green ginger
  • 8 green chillies
  • a spring of curry patta
  • 2 bottles vinegar
  • 1 breakfast cup gingelly oil
  • salt and sugar to taste
