3 tbsp Peanut Oil

14 medium Yellow onion

1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated

4 x garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp salt

1 cup dried red lentils

2 tbsp tomato paste

5 cup veg broth

5 x plum tomatoes, chopped

Juice of 1 lime

1 cup lightly packed chopped fresh cilantro

2 tsp Mustard Seeds

1 tsp Fenugreek Seeds

1 tsp Coriander Seeds

1 tsp cumin seeds

6 x whole cloves

4 x cardamom pods

2 x dried red chilis (seeds removed)

1/4 tsp cinnamon, ground
