Ingredients for 4 servings

1 pint fresh raspberries or 1 package (about 12 ounces) unsweetened frozen raspberries

3 tablespoons sugar

2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup milk

5 ounces bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 pint ice cream (strawberry, peppermint stick, chocolate, cookie dough, or your favorite)

1 cup heavy cream, whipped to stiff peaks with a little sugar to taste

4 tablespoons chopped pecans or walnuts

Colored candy sprinkles, preferably pink and red

heart-shaped candy for topping sundaes
