1/4 cup raw pumpkin seeds or pine nuts (I have used sunflower seeds too)

1/2 cup wild rice

1 cup water

1 tablespoon tomato paste

1 large acorn squash , halved and seeded

1/4 cup crumbled goat cheese or feta cheese

1/2 teaspoon dried basil

1/3 teaspoon pepper

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1 cup vegetable broth

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
