1 15-ounce can crushed tomatoes

4 cups low-sodium vegetable broth or stock

1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro

2 tablespoons soy sauce

3 tablespoons natural peanut butter (either creamy or chunky)

2 teaspoons curry powder, like Madras

-- Coarse sea salt, to taste

6 ounces green beans, cut into 1-inch lengths (about 1 cup)


1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons minced green onions

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

2 tablespoons cold, unsalted butter

1/2 cup whole milk

1 large egg
