1/2 cup crème frâiche

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract, espresso, brandy, orange oil, fruit syrup, or liqueur

Strawberries and other fruits, biscotti, and other small pieces of cake and butter cookies (for dipping)
